Marketing Event Coordinator

Job Description

This is a fixed-term role (3-6 months), part-time (3 days a week). If you’re looking for a project with clear scope, real ownership, and visible impact — keep reading.Picture this: you’re a procurement director at a major company, and someone asks you a simple question.“Can you guarantee there’s no forced labor in your supply chain?”The pause isn’t hesitation. It’s calculation. You are running through years of contracts, supplier data from every corner of the globe, and compliance requirements that change almost as fast as the news cycle. The reality? You are dealing with one of the most complex challenges in business today, often with tools that were never designed for this level of scrutiny.Your team is sharp, your processes are diligent, but the visibility you need to be certain? That’s the missing piece. And with regulators, executives, and stakeholders all expecting clear answers, it’s no longer enough to piece things together from scattered systems and outdated reports. That's where we come in.Fair Supply has built a platform that shows companies what's happening in their supply chains. Modern slavery, emissions, biodiversity destruction. We make the invisible visible. Not just surface level compliance, but real intelligence that helps procurement teams make confident decisions. Why we're hiring nowWe've got customers who love what we've built, and we've got a market that needs to hear about it. New ESG regulations are pushing companies to take supply chain transparency seriously, and we're one of the few who can help them do it.Our event calendar is growing fast. It includes industry conferences and partner events that extend our reach; webinars that help ESG and procurement teams prepare for what’s ahead; and roundtables that create space for meaningful conversations.Events are how we meet future customers and deepen trust with existing ones.To keep up, we need someone whose job is to make sure everything runs smoothly, nothing falls through the cracks, and we show up prepared every time. The role calls for follow-through, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle competing priorities. You’ll be joining just as Fair Supply is becoming the name people associate with supply chain transparency, and there’s exciting work ahead to keep that momentum going. What you'll doCoordinate events end-to-end: From securing venues to managing catering, swag, and vendor relationships, you’ll handle the logistics that bring each event to life.Keep on top of the details: Create and manage schedules, checklists, and briefs to stay ahead and keep everyone aligned. You’ll manage suppliers, catch issues early, and keep operations running smoothly.Work across teams: Connect Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product to ensure every event supports our goals with the right activations and messaging.Show up when it matters: Most of your work happens behind the scenes, but you’ll be on the ground for key events, supporting setup, registration, and real-time troubleshooting.Track what works: Manage event data in HubSpot, report insights and maintain the event calendar so nothing gets missed. Make things better: Spot gaps, test ideas, propose new formats. You're not just executing, you're helping shape how Fair Supply shows up in the world. You'll love this if you...Know how to run events: You’ve run B2B or corporate events and understand what it takes to deliver professional, well-organised experiences.Stay calm when things get messy: Timelines shift, suppliers drop out, and deliveries don’t always go to plan. You stay composed and focus on getting things back on track.Communicate clearly: You brief vendors and update teammates clearly, without creating confusion or endless email loops. Think commercially: You see events as growth engines. Lead generation and relationship-building first, aesthetics and frills second.Own your work: You make smart calls, ask for input when it counts, and move fast.Enjoy variety: No two weeks look the same. One week it’s a conference, the next a webinar or roundtable. You are up for the challenge. Bonus points if you've worked in B2B SaaS, ESG, or sustainability spaces. What working here feels likeYou'll join a team that's figured out something rare - they know how to be deeply ambitious about the work while staying genuinely kind to each other. People here want to do great work, but egos don't run the show. When someone hits a rough patch, colleagues show up to help instead of disappearing after offering vague support. You get real autonomy to make decisions and own your work. No micromanaging, no endless approval chains. Leadership keeps everyone in the loop about what's happening, both the good news and the challenging stuff. The work matters in a measurable and tangible way. We're helping companies tackle modern slavery, emissions, and biodiversity destruction. It's energising to wake up knowing your efforts are making a real difference in the world. We're not perfect. We're still building and figuring things out as we go. But we've got clear focus, customers who genuinely love what we've built, and the kind of momentum that makes you excited about what's possible. Plus, people here know how to celebrate wins together and laugh when things get messy, which they inevitably do. Ready to make sustainable supply chains your thing? This is your chance to join a company solving real problems at exactly the right moment. You'll coordinate experiences that shift how people think about ESG and supply chain transparency. You'll work alongside brilliant people on meaningful work. And you'll help build the global standard for responsible sourcing, one well-executed event at a time.If you've read this far thinking "This sounds like the challenge I've been waiting for" - let's talk.Apply now or reach out directly. We'd love to meet you.Fair Supply is building a team that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve.
