The Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA) is seeking a dedicated Event & Marketing Manager to build and expand our chapter, growing partnerships, and membership to advance our global mission to safeguard people worldwide from scams.About the Global Anti-Scam AllianceGASA is a rapidly growing non-profit that unites governments, law enforcement, consumer authorities, tech companies, financial institutions, cybersecurity experts, and private organizations to share knowledge, raise awareness, and combat scams globally. Our annual Global Anti-Scam Summits in Europe, Asia, and Africa bring together thought leaders shaping safer digital ecosystems. To increase our local impact, we are establishing regional chapters to foster collaboration and grow our partner network.Your roleAs Event & Marketing Manager Latin & North America, you will grow and nurture your Chapter alongside the Chapter Partnership Manager and Chapter Director. You will support the Chapter Director in organizing Advisory Board meetings, member events, and public virtual and physical gatherings. Additionally, you will strengthen the GASA Chapter brand through social media, email, and LinkedIn campaigns. You will report to the Global Marketing Director to ensure a consistent global brand experience. For global summits you will work closely together with the Global Event Manager.As Event & Marketing Manager Latin & North America, you will:Plan and manage all event logistics including venues, vendors, registration, and onsite operations.Support speaker coordination and program development (follow-up via email and phone).Oversee smooth event execution and address on-site challenges.Handle post-event tasks such as content collection, meeting minutes, vendor debriefs, and reporting.Lead related marketing projects including virtual meetups, campaigns, and website updates.Collaborate on digital promotion with the central marketing teamOffer hands-on support to the Chapter Director for anything needed.Build and engage communities through networking, knowledge sharing, and representing GASA.About youA proactive, relationship-driven professional with a proven record in event and marketing management, driven by GASA’s mission.You bringBachelor or Master degree in marketing or communication with ten+ years relevant experience, preferably in B2B, or international settings.Proven track record in event management, digital marketing, and social media management.Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.Strong project management and cross-team coordination abilities.Practical, organized, proactive, adaptable, and skilled at building lasting member relationships.Preferably solid understanding of anti-fraud and scam prevention sectors and key stakeholders.Based in Mexico or Brazil or willing to establish a home base there with remote work flexibility.
