Job SummaryThe Marketing Executive is responsible for enhancing brand visibility, strengthening market positioning, and supporting revenue growth through strategic and creative marketing initiatives. This role is critical during Danai’s pre-opening and early growth phases, focusing on brand development, promotional planning, and audience engagement to establish a strong and lasting market presence.Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing & Communications : Manage Danai’s social media pages and ensure consistent posting aligned with the brand. Assist in planning promotions and campaigns (festive oers, collaborations, loyalty ideas).Plan and manage marketing-related events, including launches, festive activations, and partner engagements.Support brand setup — including logo use, photography, website update, photoshoots, and social media launch. Create marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and digital content.Identify and build relationships with key local partners, media and influencers, travel agents, and corporate accounts.Track performance of marketing activities and provide monthly reports. Represent Danai at trade shows, roadshows, and community events (when applicable)CollaborationWork closely with Sales, Front Oice, and Operations teams to create promotions and upselling opportunities.Support guest feedback initiatives and highlight positive stories online.Requirements Bachelor’s or Diploma qualification in Marketing, Hospitality, or Business Administration Minimum 5 to 7 years of demonstrable experience in sales or marketing within the hospitality or hotel sectorPrior involvement in pre-opening or startup environments is advantageousProficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; fluency in additional languages is an asset Competency in social media marketing and design platforms such as Canva, Capcut, or equivalent toolsHighly self-motivated, well-organized, and capable of operating independently with minimal supervisionProven success in marketing, sales or business development rolesExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skillsKey Competencies Hands-on and resourceful Creative eye for content and branding Confident in approaching clients and partnersStrong time management and follow-up skills Passionate about hospitality and wellness
