Marketing Executive Location: Remote-first (with occasional travel to team or industry events)Salary: Competitive, based on experienceRole Purpose The Marketing Executive will play a key role in delivering strategic and tactical marketing initiatives that support broker growth, client engagement, and brand reputation. This role will bring strong project ownership, commercial awareness, and communication skills to help shape and execute compelling marketing campaigns, content, and award submissions that support Konsileo’s purpose and unique positioning in the UK commercial insurance market.Key Responsibilities Strategic Input & ChallengeContribute to marketing planning cycles, questioning the “why” behind activity and helping shape longer-term marketing goals and campaign directionSupport the prioritisation of marketing efforts to align with commercial and broker engagement strategiesProject OwnershipTake full ownership of key projects from inception to completion, acting as a trusted delivery partner to internal stakeholdersManage timelines, stakeholders, content production and outcomes across award submissions, client-facing materials, and campaignsContent Creation & EditingDraft and edit marketing content, including case studies, press releases, broker profiles, client success stories, and campaign materialsMaintain a high standard of clarity, tone, and professionalism across all outputsSupporting social media ideation and creationAwards & SubmissionsIdentify, prioritise and manage award opportunities aligned to business goalsCoordinate and draft compelling submissions that reflect broker success, client outcomes, and company impactInternal & External CommunicationsContribute to internal communication efforts, helping broker and business-wide messages land clearly and consistentlySupport PR and external communications where required, working with external partners and the wider teamPerson Specification EssentialAt least 2–3 years’ experience in a marketing, communications, or brand roleProven experience of managing marketing or communications projects end to endDegree in marketing, communications, media, or similarExcellent written and verbal communicationStrong organisational and project management skillsStrategic mindset – able to challenge and improve direction, not just follow itCapable of working independently, making progress without needing heavy oversightAble to switch between detail-oriented execution and big-picture thinkingDesirablePrevious experience within commercial insurance or a regulated sectorExperience working in a broker-facing or B2B settingCIM or other marketing qualificationsUnderstanding of insurance distribution models or broker marketing challengesDesign skills (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)Experience managing PR, social or media relationsComfortable working with self-managed teams and a distributed workforcePassion for storytelling and turning data or case studies into compelling narrativesCultural Fit Comfortable working in a self-managed organisation, empowered to make decisions, share ideas, and take ownershipNaturally collaborative, builds strong relationships across functions and geographiesSelf-aware, open to feedback, and committed to continuous improvement
