MissionWe are seeking a North America Marketing Lead to accelerate Groq’s growth and strengthen our presence across the United States and Canada through field marketing, demand-driven events, and AI and developer community engagement.In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving brand awareness, pipeline generation, and partner enablement across North America. You’ll lead strategic and field-level marketing initiatives — from industry conferences and partner activations to developer summits and executive roundtables — that position Groq as a thought leader in high-performance AI compute.You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Partner, Federal, DevRel, and People teams to design and execute integrated programs that not only generate demand but also strengthen Groq’s reputation as the platform of choice for real-time AI inference.Responsibilities & Opportunities In This RoleLead Field Marketing & Regional Demand Gen → Develop and execute a data-driven marketing strategy across North America focused on pipeline acceleration, brand growth, and community engagement.Drive Strategic & Developer Events → Own Groq’s presence at AI, developer, and enterprise technology conferences; plan and execute regional events such as roadshows, partner activations, and innovation forums.Partner & Ecosystem Marketing → Work closely with the Partner and Federal teams to design and deliver joint campaigns, events, and enablement programs that expand Groq’s reach and accelerate growth.Collaborate with DevRel → Align with the DevRel team to engage technical and developer audiences through hands-on demos, workshops, and community-led activations.Amplify Employer Brand → Partner with the People team to integrate recruiting and brand storytelling into events, positioning Groq as a top destination for AI and engineering talent.Optimize Performance → Define and track KPIs for lead generation, pipeline velocity, and event ROI; continuously measure, analyze, and iterate to improve results.Align with Global Marketing → Collaborate with global brand and campaign teams to maintain consistent messaging, positioning, and creative standards while adapting for regional impact.Ideal Candidates Have/areProven experience in field marketing, event marketing, or demand generation within high-growth technology or AI industries.Deep understanding of AI, developer, enterprise, and public sector ecosystems across North America.A track record of building regional brand awareness through impactful, demand-generating events and campaigns.Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across Sales, Partner, Federal, DevRel, and People teams.Strategic yet hands-on, balancing creative vision with flawless execution.Willingness to travel across North America for key events and activations.Attributes Of a GroqsterHumility – Egos are checked at the doorCollaborative & Team Savvy – We make up the smartest person in the room, togetherGrowth & Giver Mindset – Learn it all versus know it all, we share knowledge generouslyCurious & Innovative – Take a creative approach to projects, problems, and designPassion, Grit, & Boldness – No-limit thinking, fueling informed risk takingCompensation: At Groq, a competitive base salary is part of our comprehensive compensation package, which includes equity and benefits. For this role, the base salary range is $169,700 to $252,100, determined by your location, skills, qualifications, experience and internal benchmarks. This range is specific to roles in the United States, compensation for candidates outside the USA will be dependent on the local market.This position may require access to technology and/or information subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). To comply with these requirements, candidates for this role must meet certain citizenship or residency criteria. Specifically, they must qualify as U.S. Persons for export control purposes (i.e., U.S. citizen, U.S. lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder), or a protected individual under 8 U.S.C.1324b(a)(3) such as a refugee or asylee), or otherwise be eligible for an applicable export license.
