About The RoleThis is an exciting fixed-term opportunity for a seasoned marketer looking to step into a pivotal role that will influence how we connect with and grow our customer base across New Zealand.As a Marketing Manager here at AA Insurance, you'll take the lead in shaping and delivering our go-to-market strategy for lead nurture, acquisition, and onboarding. You'll bring your extensive experience in direct and digital marketing to life by owning the end-to-end planning and execution of multi-channel campaigns that drive growth and deepen customer engagement.We're looking for a confident, proactive marketing professional with a strong commercial mindset and proven success leading complex campaigns across a range of marketing channels. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams and agency partners to create cohesive, customer-first marketing campaigns that support retention, acquisition, and cross-sell objectives.Your ability to translate business strategy into actionable marketing plans, alongside your strong project management skills, will be key in driving continuous improvement across your portfolio. This role also involves leading cross-organisational initiatives, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment across stakeholders.If you're driven by data, enjoy leading campaigns, and are passionate about delivering marketing excellence that makes a tangible impact, then this is the perfect opportunity for you.Please note: The official title for all paperwork documentation will be Senior Marketing Specialist.What You'll Be DoingPlan, lead, and implement go-to-market strategies for acquisition and cross-sell marketing campaigns.Collaborate closely with internal teams and agency partners to ensure seamless, effective campaign delivery.Champion continuous improvement and innovation across your portfolio.Track, analyse, and report on multi-channel campaign performance alongside agencies and reporting teams.Lead cross-organisational planning sessions and initiatives, fostering alignment and collaboration.Identify and manage risks, ensuring compliance with all relevant processes, procedures, and legislation.Promote a safe and healthy working environment in line with our Health & Safety framework.What You'll Bring With YouMinimum 10 years' experience in direct and digital marketing across the customer lifecycle.At least 2 years' experience in a senior marketing role with demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills.Previous experience in financial services marketing is advantageous.Proven ability to translate business strategy into effective marketing campaigns.Strong commercial acumen and a proactive, solutions-focused attitude.Extensive experience managing complex multi-channel campaigns, including ATL, BTL, digital, social, data, and analytics.Exceptional project management skills, with experience managing multiple stakeholders.Confident and clear communicator with strong presentation skills.Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing or a related discipline.Why You'll Love Working With UsAt AA Insurance, we're passionate about making a difference for our customers.
