Department: Commercial Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Contract Type: Full-timeSalary Range: Annual EUR 90K - 100K Purpose of the Role The Marketing Manager is responsible for building and leading a lean, high-impact marketing function that connects brand, product, and demand generation into one cohesive engine for growth. The role combines strategy and hands-on execution, ensuring that Friss is positioned as a trusted, innovative, and credible partner to global insurers. This person will strengthen the company’s brand foundation, develop product marketing that translates complex value into simple impact stories, and introduce structured Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs aligned with Sales, Customer Success, and Partnerships. The role requires both creative and analytical thinking, someone fluent in data, AI-driven marketing, and commercial outcomes, not just campaigns or content. Key Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Leadership Translate Friss’s business objectives into a clear, measurable marketing plan that drives awareness, demand, and revenue growth. Define and execute the annual marketing roadmap, aligned with company OKRs and regional pipeline priorities (EMEA, Americas). Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Partnerships to ensure unified messaging and cross-functional impact. Track marketing performance through data-driven dashboards, focusing on pipeline contribution, conversion rates, and ROI. Product Marketing Own product positioning and messaging for all Friss solutions, ensuring clarity and differentiation in the market. Work with Product and Sales Engineering to translate features into business value for carrier stakeholders (KYC Compliance, Claims, SIU, Underwriting, AI). Develop compelling content: case studies, win/loss insights, playbooks, and value calculators tailored to buyer personas. Maintain competitor intelligence and ensure Sales has the tools, decks, and narratives to win deals. Brand & Communications Strengthen brand consistency across every channel: website, presentations, partner assets, and events. Develop thought-leadership content, customer stories, and media placements that build recognition and trust in the global P&C insurance ecosystem. Ensure all brand assets reflect Friss’s identity: credible, innovative, and committed to honest insurance. Account-Based Marketing (ABM) & Demand Generation Design and execute ABM programs targeting strategic accounts and buying groups across regions. Coordinate with Sales and Customer Success to personalize campaigns using intent data, predictive insights, and generative AI tools. Manage campaign lifecycle, from concept to measurement, ensuring timely delivery and visible commercial results. Oversee lead scoring, nurturing, and CRM integration to track attribution and deal influence. Team Management & Collaboration Lead and mentor the existing marketing team: Digital Marketer, Designer, Events Planner, and Field Support. Foster a culture of experimentation, creativity, and accountability within a small but capable team. Manage external agencies and freelancers when needed, ensuring alignment on quality, timelines, and spend. Marketing Technology & AI Enablement Introduce AI-driven tools that enhance productivity, targeting, and content quality (e.g., HubSpot automation, predictive analytics, content intelligence). Champion responsible use of AI in marketing, transparent, compliant, and measurable. Regularly evaluate and optimize the marketing tech stack for efficiency and scalability. Profile and Competencies Experience: 6–10 years of progressive marketing experience in B2B SaaS, ideally in Insurtech, Fintech, or Regtech. Proven record of driving measurable pipeline growth through product marketing and ABM. Experience managing small, multidisciplinary teams in fast-moving environments. Skills and Attributes: Strategic thinker with strong hands-on execution skills. Deep understanding of enterprise B2B buyer journeys, especially within regulated industries. Excellent communicator who can simplify complex technology into clear business value. Comfortable with marketing analytics, HubSpot, CRM integrations, and performance dashboards. Curious and adaptive, with a strong grasp of marketing AI trends. Collaborative leader aligned with Sales and Product. Natural storyteller with a data-driven mindset. Measures of Success Marketing-generated or influenced pipeline and revenue. Improved win rates supported by persona-driven messaging and enablement materials. Growth in brand recognition and thought-leadership visibility. Adoption of structured ABM processes and measurable ROI. Consistent delivery of on-brand content and assets.
