Job Title: marketing officerLocation: Alema Koudijs/Bishoftu Employment Type: Full-Time Requirement: BA degree by marketing, business management and related field of study.Alema Koudijs Feed PLC is based in Bishoftu and is Ethiopia’s major producer of concentrated animal feed. We produce high quality animal feed for poultry, dairy, beef etc. Our product ensures high productivity and profitability for farmers. We are seeking a marketing Officer to join the dynamic team at Alema Koudijs. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal departments and external suppliers and customers to ensure smooth and efficient marketing operations. Job description·        Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote our company ·        Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitor activities, and market trends.·        Design and distribute promotional materials such as brochures, posters, digital ads, and social media content.·        Organize and support our participation in agricultural trade fairs, exhibitions, and farmer demonstration events.·        Coordinate for smooth communication between the relevant stakeholders (sales, purchase, global marketing and any other required departments)·        Through regular market and customer visits, develop ideas for product development to support sale volume development and customer satisfaction together with Production and Sales ManagersWork closely with the sales team to generate leads and convert prospects into customers.Collect, analyze, and report data on sales performance, customer satisfaction, and market share.Prepare monthly/quarterly marketing reports and provide insights into decision-making.Monitor competitor activities and suggest strategies to maintain competitive advantage.Handle any other import/export related activities.Qualifications and Skills Ø A person who has at least 3-5 years’ experienceØ A person who has some exposure to an international setting is preferable. Ø person needs to be digitally savvy and understand how social media work in EthiopiaØ Good Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel and outlookØ Fluently speaking and writing in EnglishØ Salary------------negotiable Ø Able and willing to work extra hours whenever required Ø The candidate should present sufficient security or collateral for the responsibly he can bear.
