Job Description

A leading financial technology company is seeking a Marketing Operations Coordinator to support its Global Marketing Strategy & Operations team 100% REMOTELY. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in budget management, financial operations, and cross-functional collaboration within a marketing team at an enterprise organization. You will play a critical role in budget planning by ensuring proper spend allocation and tracking for vendor purchase orders.This position is fully remote and begins as a 1-year W2 contract offering a 100% Remote schedule, competitive benefits, and the potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment!Key Responsibilities:Manage and track marketing budgets, ensuring alignment between budget plans and actual spend.Partner with Accounting and Finance teams to oversee purchase orders, invoices, accruals, and month-end financial reconciliations.Develop reporting and tracking processes to monitor spending and mitigate financial risks across marketing operations.Work with the Global Marketing team to define and refine budgeting and operational processes as the business scales.Act as the primary liaison for vendor onboarding, procurement coordination, and billing transactions.Identify operational gaps and lead strategic initiatives to improve efficiency within the marketing organization.Qualifications & Skills:2+ years of experience in an operational role, preferably in Marketing, Finance, or Business Operations.Experience managing budgets and partnering with Finance and Accounting teams.Strong Google Sheets expertise (there will be an assessment in the interview!)Experience with Oracle Cloud, Hyperion, or Pigment is a plus!Ability to troubleshoot financial questions and work proactively to streamline processes.Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams at all levels.A detail-oriented, proactive mindset with a passion for scaling operational efficiencies.Motion Recruitment Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
