You’ll design and optimise how data flows through the business — ensuring marketing activity is measurable, insight-driven, and scalable.This role is perfect for someone who thrives on blending marketing strategy with analytical thinking, enjoys working cross-functionally, and knows how to turn data into decisions that drive tangible growth.Key responsibilitiesOversee and optimise the CRM system, maintaining data integrity, quality, and compliance with GDPR.Design and manage dashboards tracking KPIs for audience engagement, content performance, and revenue growth.Develop audience segmentation strategies based on behavioural and engagement data.Analyse customer journeys to identify opportunities to improve conversion and retention.Integrate data from multiple sources — including website analytics, CRM, and event registration platforms — into unified reporting.Build and manage marketing automation programmes to nurture audiences and improve customer experience.Implement and refine lead capture, routing, and scoring models to accelerate pipeline growth.Deliver regular performance reports and actionable insights to senior leadership.Run A/B testing and optimisation initiatives to enhance conversion rates across digital channels.Capture and analyse data from live and virtual events to strengthen audience insights.Partner with external agencies on digital advertising, SEO, PPC, and paid social campaigns.Translate data insights into clear, strategic recommendations for marketing, content, and sales teams.Skills and experience5+ years’ experience in marketing operations, with a strong focus on analytics and data-driven growth.Experience in financial services or media preferred.Strong proficiency with web analytics platforms (e.g. GA4, Mixpanel), SEO tools, and CRM systems.Hands-on experience with email marketing and automation platforms.Solid understanding of data governance and GDPR compliance.Proven success in optimising conversion funnels and implementing growth marketing strategies.Degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.Personal attributesHighly analytical with the ability to turn data into strategic decisions.Results-focused, detail-oriented, and motivated by measurable outcomes.Excellent communicator — able to explain technical insights clearly to non-technical audiences.Self-starter with strong time management skills.Collaborative team player who enjoys working cross-functionally.Curious and eager to learn about emerging marketing and data technologies.Why join?You’ll be part of a respected and fast-growing organisation that combines trusted financial journalism with innovative digital media and events.
