Title - Marketing & Outreach SpecialistHourly: $30-35/hour - Contractor/1099 or Contract to HireCompany: Soch is a pioneer in solving the public sector's most critical business challenges by digitizing and automating complex processes. We offer a suite of products that address election management, FOIA management, candidate filing, campaign finance and other critical business challenges in the government sector.Role:We are looking for a marketing and outreach professional with a minimum of 3 years of experience. Someone who is passionate about democracy and has a desire to help local and state election administrators run successful elections.Primary Responsibilities of the Role:MarketingYou will be primarily responsible for graphic design, social media, email campaigns, conferences and creating content as needed for the outreachCreate and post content on social media via content schedulerCreate training content for Soch’s products such as videos, brochures and other materialsExpert in implementing marketing strategies and techniques to increase sales activity and revenueAttend seminars, webinars, and other election related eventsTravel to conferences and onsite election office visitsOutreachDevelop and maintain relationships with current and potential customers Strong communication skills needed to demonstrate products and services offered by SochOutreach via email, phone, social media, conferences and onsite election office visitsStrong communication skills needed to promote/demonstrate products and services offered by Soch.Travel to conferences and local/state election offices as needed You must be a quick learner to learn the products and services offered by Soch Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and monitor their preferences to ensure relevant marketing strategies.Other duties as assigned by the managerA successful candidate will have:Minimum 2 years of experience in outreachOverall minimum 3 years of experience in marketingGraphic design experience in creating/editing photos, videos and other outreach materialExperience in Canva or similar toolsConferences or trade show experience Ability to work/collaborate with a teamStrong work ethic with ability to self-manage workload and deliverables Familiarity with CRM software (good to have but not required)Self-starter with a positive attitude and very good interpersonal skillsHighly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in salesProficiency in using word, excel, pdf, computer/laptop and online applicationsStrong communication skills and able to demonstrate products during conference and onsite visits to election offices.Able to operate non-commercial vehicle for business travelRequired Experience:Sales Experience: 2 year (Required)Marketing Experience: 2 years (Required)Canva is highly preferred or similar tool but ready to learn CanvaJob Type: Contractor/1099 or Contract to HireCompany's website:https://www.soch-inc.comEqual Opportunity Employer:Soch, Inc is proud to be an equal employment opportunity employer.
