We are committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented environment that supports players both on and off the pitch.Competing in the Football SA competition, we proudly field teams from MiniRoosthrough to Seniors and have a growing and diverse community of more than 200members. As we continue to expand our presence and strengthen communityengagement, we are seeking a creative and driven Marketing Specialist to join ourteam.About the RoleThis role is perfect for someone who is passionate about sport, enjoys storytelling,and can bring fresh ideas to elevate our club’s visibility, engagement, and brandidentity. You will work closely with our committee, coaches, and volunteers to drivecommunication, manage digital channels, and promote key initiatives across theclub.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute marketing and communication strategies aligned with clubgoals.Manage and grow our social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn,etc.).Plan, create, and schedule engaging content – including videos, photos, newsupdates, and stories.Coordinate website updates, newsletters, and other communication platforms.Support club events, match days, and community initiatives with promotionalcampaigns.Maintain strong relationships with sponsors and help seek new partnershipopportunities.Assist with merchandising promotion and brand visibility.Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to promote the club, itsevents, and merchandise.Analyze market trends and campaign performance to optimize marketing efforts.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.3+ years of experience in a marketing role.Previous marketing, communications, or digital media experience (sports industryexperience is a bonus but not essential).Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and analytics.Strong copywriting, content creation, and social media management skills.Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities.Great people skills and confidence in engaging with players, families, andpartners.A genuine interest in community sport and promoting a positive club culture.What We OfferCompetitive Salary and opportunity for professional development.A supportive, inclusive, and energetic club environment.Opportunity to build your portfolio and contribute to real community impact.Free club merchandise and involvement in club events and match days.A role where your ideas are valued and can directly shape the club’s growth.How to ApplyIf this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!Please send your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your interest and relevantexperience to: admin@easternunitedfc.com.auJoin Eastern United Football Club and help us grow the game we love — on and offthe pitch.
