We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our team in Calgary, AB.Primary RoleThe Marketing Specialist will support Evans’ marketing by creating high-quality written and visual content, assisting with SEO improvements, and producing creative marketing assets. This role combines content writing, SEO support, design of brochures and multimedia collateral, and video editing to help build brand awareness, engagement, and measurable growth. Key ResponsibilitiesContent & Creative DevelopmentCreate high-quality content for blogs, case studies, white papers, newsletters, and web pages.Assist with the Design and produce creative brochures, presentations, and multimedia marketing collateralDevelop graphics and visuals using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).Edit and produce short-form videos for campaigns, social media, and events.Ensure all creative outputs align with Evans’ brand guidelines and visual identity.Interface with specific customers to capture testimonials Social, Web & Campaign development Manage all social media platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook,).Work with marketing team to ensure timely messaging is used to promote events and tradeshows.Build and update landing pages, blogs, and other web content using CMS tools.Use CRM tools to support campaign tracking and lead management.Track and report on content, SEO, and campaign performance, sharing insights for improvements.SEO SupportAssist with technical SEO tasks such as fixing broken links, improving page speed, and updating metadata.Research and apply keywords in blogs, case studies, and web content.Support backlink efforts by identifying opportunities for Evans to be referenced on credible websites.Keep content structured, accurate, and optimized for visibility in search engines.Other Duties IncludeCompile and produce reports, as assigned.May assist in other tasks as requested by management from time to time. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.2+ years of experience in marketing, content creation, or creative media roles.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).Design ability for brochures, multimedia marketing collateral, and branded materials.Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.Experience supporting technical SEO and backlink development.Experience with CMS platforms and ability to adapt to new tools quickly.Experience with a CRM platform (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce). Hubspot is highly desirable.
