At Global Blue, we cultivate a culture of empowerment, encouraging our teams to collaborate and support one another.Together, we innovate, create, and strive towards a brighter future for the businesses we serve.With Global Blue, enjoy the journey.Nature and aim of the positionThis part-time (50%) position is responsible for developing and implementing the digital marketing and communication strategy for Global Blue Switzerland.The role includes co-responsibility for the marketing budget and active support to the sales team in promoting and selling Global Blue’s and third-party digital marketing campaigns, products, and services.The Marketing Specialist will also ensure the set-up, training, and maintenance of all necessary digital infrastructure, and sales and marketing materials.The ideal candidate has prior experience as a Marketing Specialist or similar role within a B2B/B2C company or communication agency, with proven success in working in an international and matrix organization.Main duties and responsibilitiesImplementation of customer-specific marketing campaigns — from presenting the available options, to data analysis, planning, monitoring, and final review.Deliver the assigned number of e-newsletters in three languages with call to action of applicable digital communication tools (e.g. Pardot). Analyse response rates and initiate corrective measures when results materially deviate from expectationsDevelop and manage alternative communication channels such as social media and mobile platforms, ensuring relevant and engaging contentEnsure all in-store sales materials (digital and print) are up to date, adapting them to reflect the latest products and services. Support front-end systems with communication tools to increase the online refund ratioPeriodically review and improve the content and user experience of the Mobile Customer Care (MCC) platform, and support its uptake through communication campaigns targeted at merchants and travellers.Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal marketing and communication teams to exchange best practices and implement corporate campaigns, including performance follow-upNegotiate and manage relationships with marketing and communication vendors, including pricing and contract termsContinuously monitor marketing and communication priorities and implement corrective actions when neededConduct quality assessments and propose technical or digital training solutions for merchants (e.g., Digital Academy), supporting related IT implementationsMaintain accurate and up-to-date information in the CRM system and generate relevant reportsCollaborate with corporate teams and other business units to enhance the marketing and sales knowledge of local sales and merchant support teams with the attendance of the monthly sales meeting delivering marketing updates and information regarding planned or active campaignsEnsure full compliance with Group policies, SOX and applicable lawsSupport the Managing Director in preparing marketing and sales country budgets, forecasts, reports, other relevant business document and is primarily responsible for organizing internal events for Global Blue Switzerland (such as the summer party, Christmas party, Green Week, etc.)SkillsExcellent communication and analytical skillsStrong customer orientation and team spiritSolid knowledge of digital marketing channels and toolsProactive, self-motivated, and highly organizedCreative mindset and strong business acumenEffective decision-making and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence across all levelsExperienced in CRM and campaign reporting systemsProficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)Web design and content management knowledgeFlexible, adaptable, and able to perform under pressureTogether, we go further:At Global Blue, you’ll enjoy:Hybrid work flexibilityHands-on learning in luxury retail, technology, and data-driven marketing.Fun team-building activities, workshops, and social events.At Global Blue, we foster career growth through internal mobility, a multicultural environment, and an Agile Working Model that supports work-life balance and team spirit.
