About The RoleLead Health and Safety initiatives, enhancing the manufacturing teams, knowledge of safety policies, advancing the health and safety culture of the site, implementing and supporting quality and environmental standards (ISO9001 and ISO14001),Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring consistent quality and environmental standards are met within the team.
Provide strong site leadership to the Manufacturing Teams and Coach team members in order to ensure continuity of knowledge and skills of manufacturing practicesAssist team leaders in promoting a culture of high-quality manufacturing and the continual maintenance of exceptional health, safety and quality standardsParticipate in Leadership Team activities such as Monthly Site Reviews and Business Planning sessions etcWork with the GM Manufacturing & Technical to ensure implementation and sharing of best practice for enhanced cost efficiency, accuracy and effectiveness.
Ability to influence and manage multi stakeholders within a matrix organization, ensuring collaboration and sharing best practice across the APAC regionContribute to the development of Best Place to Work objective through effective people management and talent managementAbout YouWe're seeking a candidate with at least 10 years of experience and a relevant tertiary qualification. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in Safety, Health and environmental standards and compliance, have experience in instilling a safety-first culture, and have leadership skills for both short and long-term performance.
They should have analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, and be able to inspire stakeholders and team members. Comfortable in managing multiple resources, they should take initiative and deliver value to the customer. Experience in continuous improvement, Six Sigma and LEAN, preferably in plastic or continuous manufacturing industries.
