Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join the Captive Solutions team at Marsh. This role will be based in the Isle of Mann with a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Within this role you will be the key contact for a portfolio of clients and responsible for reviewing financial reports prepared by back-office accounts team, ensuring all financial aspects of the client are efficiently managed, including confirming and monitoring deadlines, ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements and deadlines as well as preparing and reviewing solvency capital requirement calculationsYou will need to establish and maintain good working relationships with clients, prospects, client teams, and colleagues, oversee and co-ordinate.

the external audit process and work with Senior Management to negotiate the fee and maintain the Marsh management agreementWe will rely on you to: Manage overall client relationship which involves communicating with clients to resolve issues, offer advice and suggestions and discuss any concernsLiaise with insurance, accounts and compliance teams to co-ordinate tasks.

Perform and execute reviews of financial statements and other financial reportingPrepare and/or quality check client meeting materials/packsParticipate in Board meetingsPreparate and/or review client company minutesComplete action items/matters arisingMaintain client company risk assessments, policies and proceduresOversee AML/CFT requirements including ongoing monitoring and new client onboarding processSchedule and co-ordinate internal and external audits and implementing agreed actionsAgree and update changes to client bank mandatesAgree client investment guidelinesMonitor investment portfolio and ensuring compliance with investment guidelinesMonitor and oversee payments and receiptsPartner with business development team obtaining new and expanding business opportunitiesWhat you need to have:

3/5 years of experience within a similar financial roleQualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)Knowledge of the Isle of Mann Regulatory AuthorityExperience of working in teams and successful record of delivering resultsWhat makes you stand out: Able to calmly process a large volume of diverse workload with accuracy and efficiency.
