Master’s thesis: Applied AI to enhance operational efficiency and customer experienceThe home renovation sector is one of the largest in Sweden - yet also one of the last to fully benefit from the power of modern technology. At Dryft, we have built Sweden’s most appreciated home renovation brand while developing our own tech platform, Dryft Core. It powers both the customer experience and the operational efficiency the industry has never seen before.This thesis gives you the opportunity to apply emerging AI technologies to real business challenges. By combining technical skills with business insight, you will develop and demonstrate a highly sought-after skill set for your future career.The subject and focus of the thesis can be tailored to your interests, academic background and preferred areas of exploration so that it aligns with your goals.Purpose of the thesisThe project blends exploration, analysis, and practical prototyping. Your goal is to investigate how businesses of the future will operate in an AI-driven world by exploring opportunities such as:Improving access to knowledge and decision support in everyday operationsEnhancing workflow efficiency across internal teamsSupporting or improving the customer journey through smart tools or interactionsBased on your findings, you will design and prototype AI-supported solutions - either for internal use, customer-facing contexts, or both.Possible focus areasThe direction and depth of the thesis will be shaped together based on your background and interests. Examples include:AI-assisted internal tools for planning, knowledge access, or coordinationCustomer-facing prototypes that improve communication, guidance, or service qualityStructuring and using organizational data for applied AIHuman-in-the-loop or co-pilot solutions for real workflowsEvaluating the impact, usability, and scalability of AI conceptsHow you’ll workYou will collaborate closely with both the business side and our tech team, with Dryft's CTO as your mentor, to:Identify real needs through interviews and observationsExplore data, workflows, and knowledge flowsPrototype and test AI-driven solutionsEvaluate their impact on operations and/or customer experienceWhat we provideAccess to real users, problems, and workflowsSupport from both tech and operations stakeholdersData, insights, and freedom to shape directionFlexible setup (remote + Solna, Stockholm office)60 000 kr compensationWho this thesis is suited forThis thesis can be tailored to your academic background, interests, and preferred direction.
