Voice Actor

Osiobe Publishing, LLC is looking for two different voice actors with convincing Londoner accents (UK) to record short scripts for an audiobook project. ResponsibilitiesVoice actors are expected to apply the engaging cadence of a good storyteller, rather than just read a script like a telecaster. The ability to infuse the right energy, cadence and tone for each scene is important for this and future contracts. Our voice actors are required to record and deliver high-quality finished audio files which follow the 11 sound quality guidelines below. Voice actors are expected to complete all projects in time.

Delivery within the deadline is of the highest importance to us. Understanding and adhering to local and international copyright and privacy laws and regulations. RequirementsClarity of voice and excellent enunciation. All finished recordings must be crisp, clean and clear without ambient/background noises. Access to professional standard audio recording environment and equipment. Experience or education in media, communications or related fields is a plus but not a requirement. Payment Structure (PFH)We pay between $20. 00 and $30. 00 PFH (Per Finished Hour). This means we pay by the hour for properly recorded and edited (finished) hours of audio.

We do not pay for the actual time it may take a professional to properly produce a finished recording. IMPORTANT: Recorded audio quality must meet the following guidelines: 1. Use WAV or FLAC file format. 2. 2-channel stereo. 3. PCM (Pulse Code Modulation). 4. Constant bit rate. 5. Sampling rate of at least 44. 1kHz. 6. At least 16 bits per sample. 7. Free from ambient/background noise. 8. Free from all plosives and unwanted sounds typically created in audio recordings. 9. RMS must be between -24db and -10db. 10. There should be no more than 2 seconds of silence at the beginning or end of each chapter. 11.
