Location: Livadia, GreeceContract: Consultant (Freelance)Daily Rate: €120.00Expected Start Date: ASAPWhat The Role Is All About:We are recruiting to fill Match Day Technician roles within our operations in Greek Football. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of sports technology as part of a dedicated and dynamic team.The role involves the setup and operation of our systems on-site at football stadiums throughout Greece for the Greek Super League.Working day expectations:Arrival up to 4 hours pre-Kick OffEnd of day, up to 1 hour post-game completionThere are also varied needs during the setup day/s, which may require the consultants to be present on the day/s before match day. The role requires the consultant to be flexible with work hours, depending on the needs of the onsite team We are looking for committed and passionate people who are willing and able to commit to all Super League matches in the given stadiums. This is in order to provide the team with consistency throughout the competitions. Please consider that this work will be mainly during weekends.Key Responsibilities:It is important to note that Match Day Technicians have various responsibilities and play a crucial role in the successful delivery of the services :Working with the Semi-Automatic Offside Team Lead to set up the systemLineup cameras (likely to include working at height, on ladders and on stadium catwalks)Coordinate with the SAO (Semi-Automatic Offside) Team Lead to troubleshoot any issues with hardware or softwareSet up / Operate the Referee Review Area Monitor (RRA)Run cablingTest the functionality of the RRA monitor and backup systemsTroubleshoot issues with the hardware and associated softwareMonitor the pitch-side systems during the matchSet up the audio systemRun cablingTest the audio units Troubleshoot issues with the hardware and associated softwareInteract professionally with the Match Officials who will be using the audio system during the gameOther Responsibilities:Contribute as part of the team setting up the VAR system (Video Assistant Referee) Conducting pre-match checks of the systems in accordance with standard proceduresLiaising with football officials, stadium/club personnel and host broadcasters both on-site and remotelyMonitoring and operating the system during the matchOrganising your logistics for travelling between stadium locations as and when requiredWhy Is This The Right Job For You?This position is perfect for you if you possess:Bright and enterprising with excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skillsProactive, responsible attitude and ability to work on your initiative with minimum supervisionTime management skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure, procedural, live broadcast environmentAbility to liaise with clients and customers in a professional and approachable manner, with attention to good communication.
