The Matec Electrical Tech will wire complex custom electrical panels using electrical diagrams and/or schematics provided by engineeringPerform wiring of electrical components and cable assemblies (point to point)Mount electrical components, including circuit breakers, transformers, relays, contactors, terminals, servo drives, and all related industrial control devicesMechanical alterations and additions during debuggingWork with mechanical and controls engineers to make the machine work properlyPerform various non-repetitive mechanical assembly functions using hand or power toolsAbility to use test equipment to perform functional testingRecord appropriate documentation and test dataQualifications:
2 years of electrical wiring experience in a manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret assembly drawings and electrical schematics/wiring diagramsStrong maintenance/mechanical backgroundMust be versatile in and around a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of machine assembly and experience with machine shop equipment:
