SLB Capturi Is a Leading Carbon Capture Technology Company. We serve a range of carbon-emitting industries including cement, blue hydrogen, bio/waste-to-energy, and gas-to-power among others. We have many ongoing projects, from research and innovation, including pilot plant testing, to concept studies and to large EPC projects, both in Europe and in the United States. Today, we are delivering seven carbon capture units in Europe, with an accumulated capture capacity of 1 million tonnes of CO2. In Denmark, we are delivering five Just Catch 100 units to Ørsted, in the Netherlands one Just Catch 100 unit to Twence, and in Norway a Big Catch to Heidelberg Materials.We are looking for a skilled Material Engineer to work on carbon capture projects at Mumbai Location, including FEED & detailed engineering projects.Are you ready to join us and help unlock the potential of CCUS, making a lasting and positive impact on our environment? Responsibilities:Check and review bid documentsPrepare and review Piping Material SpecificationsPrepare and review datasheets for valves and special partsPerform calculations for pipe wall thickness, branch reinforcement, vacuum, specialty line blanks, etcPrepare technical supply documents for piping items, including valvesPrepare Piping Material RequisitionsConduct technical evaluations of vendor offers and prepare technical bid analysis reports for piping valves and special partsCheck and review vendor documents and drawings for piping valves and special partsCoordinate with clients, vendors, and engineers from other disciplinesEstimate Insulation and Painting Bill of MaterialsPrepare Piping MTO and Inch Dia/Inch Metre reportsKnowledge/skills required:B.E./B.Tech or Diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering, or other related branches of engineering, or equivalentMinimum of 7 years of experience in a reputed engineering company dealing with the Chemical, Petrochemical, Refinery, or Offshore Oil and Gas IndustryConversant with international codes and standards such as ASTM, API, ASME, and ENStrong knowledge of piping design principles, industry standards, and best practicesHands-on experience with AVEVA ERM will be an added advantageExcellent communication skills in English and strong collaboration abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlinesSelf-motivated and proactiveAnalytical and systematic in your work approachA good problem solverOpen and transparent working styleThis Is What We OfferNot just a job, but a career where you can take an active role in the industrial energy transition.
