Materials Planner

Position: Materials Planner (PH Market and Packaging Materials)Specific Assignment: Material Requirement Planning (Ordering & Review) Major Function: Ensure timely availability of materials to support production plans and shipments of bookings, and manage floor inventory of materials.Responsibilities: Uploads the pack estimates based on latest CSAR and run MRP in SAP to generate monthly vendor schedule.Reviews the generated vendor schedule.Provides monthly projected delivery requirement of all local materials.Provides monthly projected requirement of primary and secondary packaging materials for Local Brites, Tetra Pack and SUP’s.Generate PR for shortfalls after review of vendor schedule.Provides comparative analyses between plan and actual usages of local materialsConducts comparison between desired inventory of materials against actual and recommend depletion plan for high inventory noted.Provides recommendation/suggestions to resolve issues concerning near expiring materials to Supply Planners, Marketing, Production, QA/R&D and Corporate Procurement.Provides outlook for materials with risk for obsolescence/ageing resulting from unrealized plan, short shelf life, high MOQ and discontinuation of order.Coordinates with concerned departments for workable solutions to issues on shortage of materials that might lead to dropped bookings/unserved orders.Coordinates with Marketing, Corporate Procurement and DMG for material setup of new and revised materials.Qualifications: Graduate of any 4-year course. Experience in planning/forecasting/supply chain. Must be proficient in using computer/MS System. Qualified candidates must be willing to work on a 6-day workweek schedule (Mon-Sat), onsite at Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental
