Senior Operations Manager

Maven is a proprietary trading organisation formed in 2011. We employ the most talented traders, developers and engineers in the market, executing a diverse range of strategies across global equities and derivatives. We are the most active participant in many of the products we trade, contributing significant liquidity to markets around the world. The Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for building the Maven Monaco Office from the ground up.

This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in every aspect of our business, from office relocation and branding to recruitment, HR licensing, legal, tax, compliance, regulations, and business development. The successful candidate will work closely with head office resources to bring our vision and mission to life. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Collaborate with the Business Development team on various projects, including initiatives to build the Maven Monaco brand strategy and opportunities to grow a talented and diverse team in Monaco.

Provide expert guidance to internal and external stakeholders on operational, tax, immigration, and compliance matters, building trusted and strategic relationships. Ensure strict adherence to international regulatory frameworks, maintain high service delivery standards in alignment with corporate policies, and act as the Responsible Agent for Maven in Monaco. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with the company's vision and mission. Lead and oversee office relocation projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Collaborate with external service providers and the IT department to swiftly address office-related challenges and optimise workplace efficiency.

Manage the Monaco office, ensuring budget monitoring by implementing cost-effective strategies to ensure operational efficiency. Organise and coordinate office social events, fostering a positive workplace culture and encouraging team collaboration and engagement. WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Master’s degree in Economics or a related fieldFluent in English and French; additional languages are highly desirableDemonstrated success managing senior-level client relationships, particularly with high-net-worth individuals and family officesProven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levelsStrong network and outreach capabilities within Monaco and surrounding regionsSolid skills in Microsoft Office and GmailExperience in budgeting, supplier management, and contract negotiationsUnderstanding of compliance, corporate governancePrevious experience in coordination of business development projectsAdditional Information: This role offers the opportunity to work closely with head office resources and be part of a visionary team dedicated to building the Maven Monaco business.
