About MaxusMaxus Capital is a dynamic and entrepreneurial private equity platform investing across the small and mid-cap market in Europe and the US. With over €600m in AUM and a growing portfolio of fund and direct investments, we are expanding our team to support our continued growth. To further strengthen our FinOps capabilities, we are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team. This role is central to ensuring strong financial operations, reporting, and structuring across our multiple investment vehicles.

You will be a key player in shaping and scaling the finance function of a fast-growing private equity platform. Your Role & ResponsibilitiesAs Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily financial operations of Maxus Capital across different investment vehicles. This includes: Accounting & Audit Oversight: Coordinate and supervise fund accounting, prepare and review financial statements, and lead annual audit cycles in collaboration with external providers; Cash Flow Planning & Liquidity Management: Maintain visibility over capital flows across entities, support capital calls/distributions, liaise with banks on financing solutions, and ensure optimal liquidity planning; Fund Modelling:

Build and maintain integrated financial models to support internal decision-making and return projections; Operational Process Improvement: Drive efficiency and structure in financial processes and internal reporting, including the implementation of scalable systems and tools; Fiscal Strategy: Monitor tax compliance across jurisdictions, coordinate with advisors on structuring of future vehiclesAs the firm grows, so will the scope of this role - with opportunities to expand into supporting investor relations, fund structuring, and strategic finance. RequirementsProfile & Key RequirementsWe are looking for a hands-on finance professional who thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Audit, Controlling, CFO-services, or similar;Understanding of financial operations in an investment or fund environment;Advanced financial modelling skills - experience with fund cash flow forecasting, waterfall models, and valuation frameworks is a strong plus;Familiarity with fund structures, financial regulations and/or private equity environments is valued;Entrepreneurial spirit and cultural fit with our fast-paced, high-impact team;Proactive, dynamic, attention to detail, number cruncher with a results-driven mindset;Native Dutch speaker, fluent in English; other languages are a plus;Based in or willing to commute on a regular basis (min.
