Your RoleThe Service Assistant is liable in performing efficient handling of tellering functions and other over-the-counter transactions to be able to provide clients with fast and efficient banking services and generate more business for the bank without compromising its interest and integrity of its records and maintaining the safety and security of the Bank’s asset, systems and records. The incumbent is primarily responsible for deposit account servicing (deposits, withdrawals, encashments, inquiries, etc. ), processing of payments, receipts and other monetary transactions among others.
Your ImpactAccepts cash/check, other deposits, various payments and stamps applicable bank endorsementsPays out withdrawals, over-the- counter check encashment, cash advances and other authorized debit transactions. Performs signature verification singly up to teller’s limit established by the BankMakes cash requisitions based on anticipated cash requirement for the day and transfers cash at the end of the day or as soon as there is excess cash vs. limitUpdates customer passbook / record bookPost transaction in computer, performs applicable requirements during offline scenario.
