This role sits in the Financial Crime Compliance, Enhanced Customer Due Diligence team. The incumbent must be familiar with CDD and ECDD review requirements in relation to prevailing regulatory and industry practices. Job Description: Conduct CDD/ECDD of customer profile for on boarding, periodic and trigger event reviews. Ensure compliance standards are being met across the Know Your Customer (KYC) regime. Verify information/documents submitted by customers to ensure they comply with Regulatory and Bank’s requirements. Manage complex cases efficiently whilst maintaining quality and compliance. Escalate red flags and due diligence findings.
Prepare and file Suspicious Transaction Report(s). Prepare AML/CFT related trainings. Support ad-hoc activities such as process enhancement initiatives. QualificationsMinimum 5 to 8 years in private, retail and/or corporate banking with relevant AML/CFT experience (e. g. : CDD/AML/ KYC). Ability to work under pressure, highly motivated and able to work independently with limited supervision. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills. Familiarity with Private Wealth business and with working knowledge of Family Offices, emerging markets’ clients etc. ; and knowledge of Retail and/or Corporate clientele would be preferred.
