Responsibilities Transports patients and related items safely, efficiently, and on time throughout the facility. Assists Radiologists and Technologists in exams and procedures across Radiology modalities. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times. Communicates professionally with staff, patients, and visitors. Functions independently and as a team member, often receiving direction by phone. Keeps work area clean, organized, and stocked; stores equipment and supplies properly. Requires full use of arms, hands, repetitive foot motion, overhead reaching, and trunk rotation.

Must be able to multitask and adapt to unpredictable situations. Must be able to complete the Mayo Clinic's New Employee Orientation and General Systems Training. Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and lift more than 50 pounds with assistance. Physically able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time. Requires upper and lower physical strength to be able to manage the pushing and pulling of stretchers with and without patients occupying them.
