We are always on the lookout for future-oriented talent – want to join the ride?We are always on the lookout for a talent with a growth mindset – are you the one?  We are looking for a MBD (Model Based Definition) Engineer with a main responsibility for developing, implementing and maintaining MBD workflows and models to support the R&D and Engineering organisation and all the design stakeholders along the product value chain. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland but also Turku or Helsinki, Finland or Trieste, Italy are negotiable. We offer a possibility to hybrid remote work. Your role and responsibilities:  As a MBD Engineer your work will include developing and maintaining 3D model-based definition standards and guidelines for product design and documentation, while implementing MBD workflows across design teams to ensure consistency and compliance with industry standards. You will collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to enable seamless data exchange and digital continuity, support PLM integration to ensure proper data management throughout the product lifecycle, and drive automation and optimization of design processes using MBD principles. Additionally, you will provide training and support to stakeholders on MBD tools and best practices. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as part of the collaborative and forward-thinking Engineering Innovation & Advanced Concepts team, a group with diverse expertise dedicated to driving innovation and shaping the future of design.Requirements for the position: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldSolid understanding of GD&T and ISO standards for digital product definitionProven experience in MBD/MBE implementations within product development environments Qualifications/to be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have: Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teamsAnalytical mindset with problem-solving abilitiesAbility to adapt and learn new tools and technologies quicklyFamiliarity with digital manufacturing processes and data interoperabilityUnderstanding of industry standards for digital product definition and PLM integrationWhy you and us?    You are valued – as your true self.
