The Foreclosure Specialist will be responsible for coordinating foreclosure activities and processes with attorneys and other departments within the Firm as necessary during the foreclosure process. They will ensure that actions are properly documented and recorded while maintaining and adhering to the foreclosure timeline.
RequirementsMaintain an assigned a portfolio of loans that are in foreclosure to ensure that the loans are properly and timely processedAble to properly document the case management system with the progress and/or current status of the fileAbility to pinpoint files that are not moving forward fast enough and accurately communicate what is needed in order to proceedEnsure adherence to client, state, and federal requirementsAbility to enter and verify that the correct data is in the case management systemAccurately draft foreclosure documents for attorney review, i. e.
debt affidavits, payoffs, and reinstatement quotesCalendar regular follow-up requests for outstanding itemsAccountable for assigned daily workload and work in advance of upcoming deadlinesResponsible for special projects and reporting required by clientsComfortable with handling incoming calls from borrowers in defaultAbility to perform basic mathematical calculations and tasks requiring detail, concentration, and accuracy;Place outbound calls to the Clerk of Court, Register of Deeds, SheriffRequired Skills/AbilitiesWorking knowledge of foreclosure law and terminologyExcellent professional communication skills. Position requires interaction with all interoffice personnel, managers and attorneys as well as the clients and outside vendors.
