This position has become available following the retirement of a long-standing team member — offering the chance to be part of a skilled and supportive team that values craftsmanship, safety, and quality work.About The RoleAs a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for the overhaul, assembly, and maintenance of industrial gearboxes and rotating equipment. Your day-to-day will include:Disassembly, inspection, and rebuild of industrial gearboxes and related componentsDiagnosis of mechanical faults and assessment of worn or damaged partsWorking from engineering drawings and assembly specificationsUse of precision measuring tools and workshop machineryAssisting with load testing and quality assurance processesMaintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspaceAbout YouWe are seeking a qualified Mechanical Fitter who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team that delivers excellence.
