Mechanical Design Engineer

Product development with consideration of customer requirements as well as cost, manufacturing, and quality specifications; point of contact for all projects in series production ResponsibilitiesDesign and development of mechanical components for electronic control unitsDevelopment of concepts for heat dissipation and cooling; performing thermal management calculationsDocumentation of mechanical modules including tolerance analysisParticipation in risk analysesFurther development and maintenance of existing productsTechnical responsibility for projects and sub-projectsCollaboration in customer projectsTechnical point of contact for customers and suppliersCoordination of prototype/sample assembly and commissioningParticipation in the transition to series productionCreation of specifications, test concepts, and other product documentationInvolvement in quality assurance measures such as FMEAs, FTAs, and design reviewsTechnical support and training for other departmentsContribution to the preparation of inquiries and quotationsQualificationsUniversity or technical college degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field, or technician trainingCAD experience, preferably with CATIA V53+ years of professional experienceGood command of English, both written and spoken
