Lexdan Select is assisting a business based in the Cape Winelands with their search for a Mechanical Design Engineer.Then role offers between R400k - R600k p.aDuties:Assemblies and detailed manufacturing drawings in accordance with acknowledged manufacturing standards.Issues revisions and updates the manufacturing drawings, material lists and machine manuals.Lay-out drawing of customer manufacturing area.Compiles part specifications, BOM’s, production orders and manuals.Produces efficient designs within the framework of simplicity, feasibility, cost efficiency and accuracy.Implement engineering change proposals (ECP’s) on designs.Drafting of P&ID.Provides technical support during manufacturing processes and for technicians on-site.Requirements:Degree / Btech EngineeringMinimum 3 years experienceTeam player, self-starter and highly motivatedMust be competent in 3D CAD machine design.
