Manage LIN SCAN/PIPECARE Tool fleet withing the specific region, assess tool conditions after runs, and control all spare parts for any tools in the territory/region.Job Functions, Responsibilities & AuthoritiesResponsible for calculation of forces, stresses, pressure and other factors in relation with designAnalyze pipeline questionnaire, PID, site surveys and other information provided to finalize the design and configuration of pigsPerform mechanical design, engineering, documentations, and modeling duties for revisions to existing equipment, production of new equipment, design of Tools and Launcher- ReceiversModel mechanical system designs in Solid Work and AutoCAD as requiredPrepare bill of materials for finished mechanical assemblies and all partsSupervise and assist in the creation of finished mechanical assembly and fabrication drawingsAssist in the preparation of finished as-built & as-installed versions of drawingsAcquire or generate as necessary all technical product data sheets required to document drawingsCompile drawings and documents as required providing complete mechanical submittal and Operation & Maintenance packagesGenerate supporting documents as required to support designPerform hand calculations to provide engineering analysis of stress, loads and forces as it pertains to mechanical designParticipate in internal engineering and designProvide technical support to Site engineers to complete all runs successfullyAnalysis run result of the gauge toolParticipate in physical testing of equipment and coordinate expected and actual results analysis with fabrication and testing personnelVerification of client specificationsWorks in cooperation with the Production department, assisting in production startup and optimization workUpgrade tool fleet to latest type design / technologiesGuide the tool preparation process for timely and correctly implementation of design, fabrication and assembly aspectsRespond instantly to field queries during execution of runsCarries out any other related Jobs as and when required by the HODAny other duties as assigned by the Head of DepartmentAccountabilityAccountable for the design submitted. To make sure it fulfills the requirementMakes sure the assigned task is delivered on time as per submitted planUpdates HOD immediately about any issue/requirement/necessity in the departmentSkills/experience:Bachelor of Engineering/Technology in Mechanical/MechatronicsMin 5 years’ experience in related Mechanical Design field with 3D software (SOLIDWORK and AutoCAD software)Knowledge in detail designing and preparation of full set of drawings, Bill of Materials, Design Calculations, Validation and optimization according to process engineeringKnowledge in design of Pigging Tools, Pressure spools design & developments with analysis on CATIA or ANSYS are an additional advantageExposure to Design-manufacturing environmentMinimum of 1 years’ experience in a tool and production related role, ideally in the Oil & Gas IndustryStrong command of English, knowledge of other languages is plusMust be flexible with work hours & timingsLocation: Greater NoidaOpen Position:1Physical and Mental Requirements:Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 poundsMobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwellsCommunication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectivelyFocus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectivelySafety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
