We’re looking for a mechanical engineer to take full ownership of structural and mechanism design, with an immediate start. You’ll handle both primary and secondary structures using hand calculations, FEA, and Fusion 360 CAD to ensure performance meets all requirements. The role includes leading design reviews, managing supplier and customer interfaces, and overseeing hardware delivery from concept through fabrication, testing, and re-use.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace engineering or a closely related disciplineStrong capability in design engineering with a proven ability to develop creative and practical technical solutionsDeep experience in machine design and product development workflowsProfessional background in mechanical engineering with a track record of delivering high quality hardwareHigh proficiency in CAD tools, particularly Fusion 360, and comfort producing production ready models and drawingsBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related disciplineSolid understanding of manufacturing processes and relevant industry standardsStrong problem solving ability, attention to detail, and comfort working collaboratively in a remote environmentExperience managing projects and supporting or mentoring less experienced engineers is considered a significant advantageHiring Range£35,000 -> £50,000 GBP
