Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Contract Type: Full-timeDuties & Responsibilities:Prepare and review mechanical designs (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting) in compliance with Saudi Building Codes (SBC) and international standards (NFPA, ASHRAE, IPC).Supervise the execution of mechanical works and ensure adherence to drawings and specifications.Perform load calculations and prepare detailed designs (ducting layouts, piping, drainage systems).Review and approve material submittals and suppliers from a technical perspective.Coordinate with other disciplines (Electrical, Structural, Fire Safety) to ensure project integration.Prepare technical reports and follow up on testing, commissioning, and handover procedures.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in local engineering consultancy firms within Saudi Arabia.Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Codes (SBC) and international standards (NFPA, ASHRAE, IPC).Proficiency in mechanical design software (HAP, AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP).Valid registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (or eligible for registration).Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience.Professional and motivating work environment.Opportunities for continuous professional development and training.
