Mechanical Design Staff Engineer / Section Head

Job ObjectivesCarries out conceptual and actual design for machine equipment and conveyor system.Leads and provides training to Junior/ Senior/ Staff Design Engineers.Strives to meet set production and quality goals on operation assigned.Job ResponsibilitiesProduce a quality design to meet internal & external expectation.Explore improvement opportunities and makes proposals for corrective and preventive actions.Prepare all parts drawings, quality user manual and maintain a proper technical recording.Provide guidance to new or junior design engineer & help them by providing solution or others technical information.Always provide solutions for projects & arrangement improvement.Take in charge of the department and to make a right decision on behalf of Section Manager during his absent.Attend to production & customers design related issues & provide commitment on the improvement action.Follow up closely on every single design had been done.Make sure the design output meets the design input.The design must go through a proper review & verification before sending out for production fabrication or purchasing sourcing.Provide training to the Junior Design EngineerCarry out project as assigned by the Superior, COO, CEO and/or EC.AuthoritiesProject Timeline achievement, Budget Control, Design intake concern of prevention of failure/error and skillful of poke-yoke (mistake-proofing).Proposal & Costing for Quotation with data & calculation proved the Design validation upon request.Guide / Lead the junior for any design relation issue occur, workflow, pass information & knowledge.Flexibility of accept any adhoc task / OT when the project is in the rush condition.QualificationDiploma or Degrees in Mechanical Engineering.Able to handle projects independently.Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in automation equipment design & troubleshootingWork experience in related field experience.Ability to independently coordinate with customer for machine buy-off schedule.Should possess responsibility and have strong communication and action orientated.Strong experience automation design and CAD software.Familiar with pneumatics and motion controls.SkillsTechnical knowledge in automation equipment design.CAD softwareCommunication skill.Project follow up.More Reasons To Come Work With Us:Good career growth prospects.Attractive remuneration package and benefits.Flexible working hours.You are our needed talent & join us, to be the leader and world-class automation solutions provider in the global market.
