Mechanical Designer

Lieu : Herstal, BelgiumResponsibilities:Responsible for providing detailed drawings and assembly drawings 3D modelingCreates 3D in Creo and 2D drawings in windchill for multiple product linesMain tasks:Providing 3D models and 2D DRW’s according the general design rules (e.g; form & place tolerances, material indications, …)Transforms initial rough product designs or sketches into working models and documentsUtilizes knowledge of various machining technologies, engineering best practices, mathematics, materials, … to complete drawingsPerform minor design updates or any necessary changes to existing models or drawingsMaintains/ adapts relationships of models and drawing files in an organized fashionAligns the development of 2D and 3D drawings with the design engineering leadProfile:You have a bachelor degree, domain of mechanical engineering, with minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a draftsman rolePreferably you live in a range of 45 min from the site of HerstalExperience in Defence, Aerospace or Automotive industry is a plusExperience with Creo and Windchill is mandatorySelf-motivated, taking ownership and driving topics to fulfill your deadlinesYou are a team player, good interpersonal and communication skillsFluent in French and proficient in English
