Mechanical Engineer

Job PurposeTo provide technical expertise and engineering support for mechanical systems within gas plant operations, with a focus on maintenance, inspection, and turnaround & inspection (T&I) activities. The role involves ensuring plant reliability, safety, and efficiency through effective design review, troubleshooting, and implementation of best engineering practices.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical engineering activities related to gas plant equipment such as compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, and piping systems.Support Turnaround & Inspection (T&I) activities, including planning, execution, and post-analysis.Conduct technical evaluations and provide solutions for mechanical issues to ensure reliability and compliance with industry standards.Participate in maintenance planning and provide engineering input for equipment modifications and upgrades.Ensure all work complies with company safety and environmental standards.Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and inspection teams to enhance mechanical system performance.Minimum Job RequirementsExperience: Minimum 3 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience in gas plant operations.Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.Certification: FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) certification preferred.Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, maintenance strategies, and reliability engineering principles.Experience Preference: Candidates with Turnaround & Inspection (T&I) experience are highly preferred.
