A Snapshot of Your DayAs a Mechanical Engineer for Power Transformers, you play a key role in the power transformers development group. You are responsible for defining and supporting technical rules and solutions. You will oversee not only the technical content, but also business objectives such as budget, quality, performance, and schedule requirements. You ensure that we define and implement the most uniform and standardized components, enabling us to provide new sustainable engineering solutions in a timely manner while keeping costs to a minimum.How You’ll Make An ImpactSupport the standardization and modularization programManage non-standard functional requirements from end-customersAnalyze, evaluate and estimate user requirements and design solutions in collaboration with the partners and the project teamActively collaborate with teams from different departments and sites in an international environmentCoordinate with external partners and suppliersParticipate in improving development methods and processes within a highly skilled development teamWhat You BringBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience in a relevant subject area.Detailed knowledge in the design of mechanical components within CAD environment (Creo/ NX).Knowledge of the mechanical-technological properties of metallic materials and their impact in engineering application and experience in working with standards for semi-finished products and norm parts.Knowledge with BOM structure and PDM systems (Windchill/ Teamcenter).Analytical thinking, independent way of workingAbility to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members as well as various internal and external collaboratorsGood communication skillsProficient in spoken and written EnglishAbout The TeamOur Grid Technologies division enables a reliable, sustainable, and digital grid.
