Lead projects from concept through production, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across electronics, software, and manufacturing. Conduct technical analyses, manage project timelines and resources, and drive continuous innovation in product development.Key Responsibilities IncludeDesign and develop mechanical components and complete systems using SolidWorksCreate detailed 3D models, technical drawings, assembly documentation, and promotional renderingsPerform stress, vibration, and thermal analyses including FEA simulationsOptimize designs for manufacturability, assembly efficiency, and cost-effectivenessManage project timelines, resources, and budgets from concept to completionCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partnersDevelop comprehensive technical documentation including specifications, BOMs, and maintenance guidesEnsure compliance with safety standards and reliability requirementsIdentify and implement product improvements and innovationsResearch emerging technologies, materials, and manufacturing methodologiesPrepare project reports and present findings to stakeholdersSupport production teams with technical clarifications and troubleshootingSkills And ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited universityMember or eligible for membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)Minimum 2-5 years of experience in mechanical design and product developmentProven experience in industrial product development, preferably in scientific instrumentation or precision equipmentAdvanced proficiency in SolidWorks (3D modeling, assemblies, detailed drawings)Strong knowledge of engineering materials and manufacturing processesExperience with FEA and engineering analysis toolsUnderstanding of relevant industry standards and regulationsExperience in project management and budget oversight (asset)Background in manufacturing environments (asset)Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical thinkingExcellent communication skills in written and verbal formats (French and English)Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary team environmentsStrong project management and organizational capabilitiesMeticulous attention to detail and commitment to technical rigorSelf-motivated with ability to work autonomouslyBilingual (French-English) is a significant assetHow To ApplyIf you’re interested in this opportunity with this innovative and rapidly growing high-tech organization, please submit your resume on our platform or contact us for more information.All candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.Full nameEmail addressMessageUpload CV (optional)Upload your CV/resume or any other relevant file.
