Job Summary:The Junior Engineer (Mechanical) is responsible for supporting the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment across various projects. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, the role offers hands-on experience and exposure to practical engineering tasks in construction, fabrication, manufacturing, or maintenance environments. The Junior Engineer will contribute to technical documentation, quality checks, and coordination with other disciplines to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and in compliance with industry standards.Experience : 2 - 5 yearsSalary : INR 35,000 - 40,000/monthLocation : Mumbai, IndiaRole and Responsibilities:Assist in preparing mechanical designs, drawings, material take-offs, and technical documentationSupport the review of specifications, datasheets, and supplier/subcontractor documentsParticipate in site inspections and monitor mechanical work progress, ensuring alignment with approved plans and standardsAssist in equipment installation, testing, and commissioning activities under supervisionCoordinate with other engineering disciplines and departments to resolve design or construction issuesSupport the preparation of reports, quality records, and technical submittalsReview and verify material deliveries against technical specificationsEnsure adherence to safety and quality procedures in all mechanical activitiesParticipate in technical meetings, reviews, and training sessionsStay updated on relevant codes, standards, and best practices in mechanical engineeringMandatory Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from a recognized university0–2 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role (internship or trainee experience acceptable)Basic knowledge of mechanical systems such as HVAC, piping, pumps, valves, and rotating equipmentFamiliarity with engineering standards and codes (e.g., ASME, API, ISO)Proficient in MS Office and basic engineering software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent)Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentsStrong analytical, communication, and teamwork skillsFluent in English, both written and verbalWillingness to work on-site and travel as neededEagerness to learn, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward assigned tasks
