Mechanical Engineer

Role Overview:One of our clients is hiring for a Mechanical Engineer to join a leading technology and managed services company, supporting a hyperscale data center project.In this role, you’ll oversee the design review, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems — including chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, HVAC, pumps, piping, and fire protection systems. You’ll work closely with MEP and construction teams to ensure system performance, safety, and compliance with data center standards.Key Responsibilities:Review mechanical design drawings, specifications, and shop drawings for accuracy and complianceSupervise installation and testing of HVAC systems, chillers, pumps, and ductingCoordinate chilled water systems, ventilation, and fire protection with electrical and control teamsConduct testing, commissioning, and performance validation of mechanical systemsMonitor contractor work for safety, quality, and schedule adherencePrepare technical documentation, reports, and inspection checklistsKey Requirements:3–5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in Data Center, Industrial, or High-Rise projectsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical EngineeringHands-on experience with chiller systems, cooling towers, CRAH/CRAC, and fire suppression systemsKnowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA, and NFPA standardsFamiliar with BMS integration and chilled water balancingStrong documentation and coordination skillsImmediate availability preferred
