We are on the lookout for multiple Mechanical Engineers to assist in the design, development, and execution of complex manufacturing and mechanical systems projects. Working within a multidisciplinary environment, this position supports all phases of new construction—from concept development through testing and commissioning. The ideal candidate is a motivated problem-solver with strong technical acumen, capable of balancing engineering excellence with cost, schedule, and quality objectives. If this sounds like you or someone you know please apply directly or send your resume to info@stellar-recruitment.com.Responsibilities:Provide engineering and design support for piping and auxiliary systems throughout project construction, integration, and testing phases.Review design packages, calculations, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with contract, regulatory, and class requirements.Collaborate with production, planning, and quality teams to resolve design and fabrication issues while maintaining technical integrity.Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure equipment and system interfaces meet design intent.Support system testing and commissioning activities, including technical review of test plans, witnessing of tests, and resolution of punch list items.Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation such as drawings, redlines, engineering change requests (ECRs), and bills of materials (BOMs).Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Systems or Mechanical Engineering (required).2-5 years of mechanical systems or piping design experience; heavy industry/manufacturing construction experience.Demonstrated ability to work independently and develop effective technical solutions within project constraints.Proficiency with AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with MRP systems a plus.Strong communication, documentation, and analytical skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.Eligible to register as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) at the start of employment; commitment to high safety and quality standards required.Pay: $35-47 per/hour depending on seniority12 month contract, 5 days on site in North Vancouver, BCPlease note that the posted pay range for this role may vary based on seniority, qualifications, or prior experience.
