Mechanical Engineer

EngineerWe are seeking a skilled and proactive Engineer to manage, maintain, and optimize the property’s systems and infrastructure. This role is ideal for a technical professional who enjoys problem-solving, ensuring compliance, and improving operational efficiency.Responsibilities:Manage, maintain, and repair all building systems, equipment, and infrastructure.Conduct inspections to identify issues and implement practical solutions.Perform preventive maintenance and oversee repairs to ensure smooth operations.Develop, implement, and refine maintenance procedures and schedules.Coordinate with external contractors, monitoring their work and managing materials, schedules, and labor.Maintain inventories of tools, equipment, and spare parts.Evaluate systems and operations to identify efficiency improvements and optimize resources.Assist with planning and overseeing renovations, upgrades, or new construction projects.Prepare and maintain maintenance logs, reports, and compliance documentation.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.Relevant trade or technical certifications (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) and health & safety certifications are a plus.Minimum 10 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities engineering, or a related technical field.Strong experience conducting inspections, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions.Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and building systems operations.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.Detail-oriented with a focus on safety, compliance, and quality.Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing operational needs.
