Are you an experienced Mechanical Estimator looking for a long-term career move with a well-established construction firm? This is an opportunity to join a leading mechanical contractor with a reputation for delivering complex institutional, commercial, and multi-residential projects across the Lower Mainland.As a Mechanical Estimator, you’ll play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive bids, leading estimating efforts, and collaborating with project teams from tender through award.Key ResponsibilitiesReview drawings and specifications to define project scope and identify potential risks.Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs, labour, and material cost estimates.Issue and evaluate RFQs for subcontractors and suppliers.Collaborate with project managers and leadership to align estimates with company goals.Participate in handoff and review meetings to support continuous improvement.Recommend value-engineering strategies that enhance efficiency and cost savings.Qualifications3+ years of experience in mechanical estimating or a combined estimating/project management role.Strong understanding of large-scale commercial, institutional, or residential construction projects.Proficient with Trimble Accubid and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Bluebeam, Revit, or AutoCAD is an asset.Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).Red Seal Plumbing or HVAC certification considered an asset.Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.Why JoinCompetitive compensation package ($130K–$160K depending on experience)Extended health, dental, and vision coverageRRSP matching programAdditional paid time off during the holidaysCar allowance, gas card, and company laptopSupportive and growth-oriented culture with opportunities for advancement
