Mechanical & Maintenance ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair mechanical plant, machinery, and systems (e.g. pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulic/pneumatic systems).Diagnose and troubleshoot faults using advanced techniques and precision measurement tools.Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.Perform complex fitting and machining tasks, including alignment and calibration.Interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.Carry out welding, fabrication, and assembly tasks where required.Ensure mechanical systems comply with operational and safety standards.Blading of Turbine RotorsBalancing of rotating equipmentPlanning & ImprovementPlan, prioritize, and execute maintenance work to meet operational requirements.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance reliability, efficiency, and safety.Assist in commissioning and testing of new or upgraded equipment.Maintain accurate maintenance records, documentation, and reporting in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).Safety & ComplianceApply safety protocols in all work, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, codes, and organizational procedures.Participate in risk assessments, isolation procedures, and safe work permits.Report and help investigate incidents, hazards, or near misses.Maintain tools and equipment in safe, serviceable condition.
