Description & RequirementsThe team in Port Hedland and Karratha are currently looking for Mechanical Fitters to provide support to the business using specialised machinery, tools, and engineering techniques to maintain and repair mechanical plant and equipment on site.Working with Monadelphous offers many benefits, some of which include:Consistent work either FIFO or localFor locals, works available Monday to Friday with additional weekend shifts availableFor FIFO, consistent rosters where you’ll work majority of the month.Diverse project work across multiple sites/clientsSafety and wellbeing at the forefront of our cultureWhat you will bring?Australian recognised Trade CertificateExperience in fitting and assembling fabricated metal parts into products, setup machining tools, production machines and operates machining tools and machines to shape metal stock and castings.Experienced in use of required equipment such as hand tools, cutting torches and metal cutting machinery.Ability to read and interpret project technical information such as drawings, blueprints, and isometrics to provide skilled solutions.Knowledge in diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machines and overhauling or repairing mechanical parts.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, providing skilled technical advice to the project teams.
