Founded in 2000, Visteon brings decades of automotive intelligence combined with Silicon Valley speed to apply global insights that help transform the software-defined vehicle of the future for many of the world’s largest OEMs. The company employs 10,000 employees in 18 countries around the globe.Mission of the Role:Manage and drive some Mechanical engineers (15~20) to deliver mechanical designs for Visteon products, on-cost, on-time, on-quality.Key Objectives of this Role:Manage his/her team to drive accountability, design quality mindset, efficiency and people development.Assign resources from his/her team to each project under his/her responsibilities.Make relevant reporting of his/her team to the management.Ensure quality of deliverables from his/her team.Provide guidance and support to his/her team through organizational and cross-functional resources.Key Performance Indicators:BOM complianceEngineering budget complianceProcess Quality complianceDeliverables Say/Do ratioTop talents attrition ratioKey Year One Deliverables:Team development roadmap based on competencies assessmentKPI for Process Quality compliance above engineering targetQualification, Experience and Skills:Bachelor's /Master’s degree in the Mechanical engineering field.18+ years of relevant engineering experience preferably in regional or global environment. 5+ years of Engineering team management experience with proven Leadership.Experience in Automotive products development, preferably in Displays, Infotainment, Cockpit Electronic products, Electrification vehicles products.Strong experience in ensuring the design quality, verification methods. Design tools.Exposure to CAE and testing domains.
