Because we work with various customers, you are also expected to be able to adapt to different environments.Key Responsibilities The mechanical and piping supervisor is primarily responsible for managing the activities involved in erecting pressure vessels, cooling tower (assembled on site), and skids, as well as assembling piping from the site reception to the blowing activity during the construction and the pre-commissioning phase of the site. Addittionally, you have two key functions: to apply technical expertise and to manage the team in his or her discipline within the project.Site SupervisionLead and promote safety on site at all times.Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and supplier representatives.Monitor subcontractor performance against engineering documentation and project schedules.Coordinate construction interfaces between disciplines and subcontractors.Organize and lead coordination meetings, issue minutes, and follow up on action plans.Quality ControlDefine and validate inspection plans before construction.Ensure all activities comply with contractual specifications and quality standards.Oversee installation of pressure vessels, skids, cooling towers, and industrial piping.Collaborate with QA/QC teams to manage documentation, inspections, and non-conformities.Issue construction inspection reports and verify as-built documentation.Progress & ReportingReport weekly on progress, KPIs, and milestones (e.g., welding progress, tonnage erected).Review bills of quantities, invoicing statements, and additional works.Evaluate subcontractor performance and productivity.Submit weekly progress and cost projection reports to the Site Manager.What you bring to the positionMinimum 10 years of experience as a Mechanical & Piping Supervisor in industrial projects.Proven expertise in oxygen and hydrogen service piping (mandatory).Strong technical background in mechanical assembly and industrial piping.Demonstrated experience in team supervision and subcontractor management.Excellent understanding of construction safety standards and quality control procedures.Autonomous, reliable, and proactive professional attitude.Training & Certifications (Mandatory)Work at Height CertificationConfined Space CertificationVCA-VOL (Safety for Operational Supervisors)What we offerCompetitive Salary & Benefits: Including a laptop, mobile phone, full travel allowance and pension plan.Work-Life Balance: 25 vacation days, flexible working hours in a hybrid mode.Professional Growth: Weekly Dutch classes and a tailored talent management program with a financial budget to help you achieve your professional goals.Dynamic Culture: Diverse team activities from tech meetups to sports and social events.Is there still room for fun?
