Mechanical Supervisor

About the RoleSilverBak is looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisors to join a large-scale industrial project. The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate the installation of mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and both static and rotating process equipment.Manage and monitor subcontractor teams on site to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.Enforce and maintain high safety standards—ensure compliance with site safety procedures, permits to work, and method statements.Conduct quality checks and inspections to verify installation and workmanship standards.Review and interpret P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and specifications to ensure correct execution of works.Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for site management.Liaise with project engineers, QA/QC, and HSE teams to address issues and maintain project momentum.Support commissioning and handover activities as required.Key RequirementsMinimum 5 years’ experience in a mechanical supervision role.Strong background in industrial, pharmaceutical, oil & gas, or data centre projects.Proven experience with static and rotating equipment.Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and mechanical drawings.Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.Strong commitment to safety, quality, and project delivery.Flexibility to work on a rotational basis.PackageContract: 1 year (extendable)Rotation: 4 weeks on / 1 week offIncludes: Flights, accommodation, and local transport
